Focus on... LutchamaK

French version here

From now on, every month on HomeCooking Share , a regular user artist will be presented, put forward. In addition to his music, which can be found everywhere on the site, this is an opportunity to get to know each other better! For this new episode, focus on LutchamaK

HomeCookingShare: To begin, who are you?

LutchamaK: A music lover without borders, producer of the musical project LutchamaK.

HCS: How would you define your music?

LutchamaK: An electronic music with strong techno influences but not only. Depending on the tracks, the groove and the atmosphere can be more or less techno, house, dub, electro or even EBM. I don't deny myself anything in the mixing of genres.

HCS: What made you decide one day to embark on this musical adventure?

LutchamaK: First of all, I think, a 12-year-old's dream that never failed me. Second, I would say I didn't have much choice, music, I can't do without it. Whether it's listening to it, making it, dancing to it, learning through documentaries, music fascinates me to the fullest.

HCS: Your influences?

LutchamaK: Prince (before Batman), le label Duploc, Trent Reznor, Big Boi, Kate Bush, Gojira, Kassav', Underground Resistance, Phantogram, Timbaland, Earth Wind & Fire (until 1983), Dubmatix, Spiral Tribe...

HCS: If you had to leave on a desert island with 3 discs: which ones?

LutchamaK: I think it would be 3 hard drives of a few petabytes each, filled with different albums ;) Well, come on ok, but I maintain that 3 albums is too little:

- Dead Can Dance "Toward The Within"

- Sly & Robbie Meet Dubmatix "Overdubbed"

- Kate Bush "The Dreaming"

HCS: The perfect track to cook?

LutchamaK: I have to admit that cooking is really not my forte, so maybe something that makes me happy: Jean-Philippe Marthély & Patrick Saint Eloi "Souskay" (1985)

HCS: Small technical point: with what material do you work?

LutchamaK: Not much unfortunately, when I went into production I had to invest in a good PC, as I had been tinkering with Fruity Loops forever, I upgraded to version 20, I took the USB controller "Fire" from AKAI and also bought some VST like Serum from Xfer.

HCS: Not easy to break into the musical jungle, even with talent ... what do you think about it?

LutchamaK: 100% agree, but I wonder if the jungle hasn't always been present in the art world.

HCS: And finally, if you have something to add (pretty much what you want ...), here we go!

LutchamaK: Thank you very much to HomeCooking Share, your curiosity and eclecticism really makes you happy!
