From now on, every month on HomeCooking Share , a regular user artist will be presented, put forward. In addition to his music, which can be found everywhere on the site, this is an opportunity to get to know each other better! For this new episode, focus on Ulisess
HomeCookingShare: To begin, who are you?
Ulisess: Hi, I'm Ulisess.
HCS: How would you define your music?
Ulisess: A little abrasive, dark in the bass lines and harmonies, a slap, emotionally inaccurate.
HCS: What made you decide one day to embark on this musical adventure?
Ulisess: I dont know exactly, I would say you that I can't stop doing music, good or bad it doesn't matter. It is part of me. I communicate through music.
HCS: Your influences?
Ulisess: I am very influenced by Groove metal, Metalcore, Thrash metal, Death metal, Progressive Metal, Djent, Avant-garde metal and obviously electronics in general, I love the fusion of music. For example, Igorrr's work is a good idea of fusion.
HCS: If you had to leave on a desert island with 3 discs: which ones?
Ulisess: Tough choice, but I'm sure with the 'Mezzanine' of Massive Attack, 'Cryptocracy' of Huoratron and 'Miasma' of The Black Dahlia Murder.
HCS: The perfect track to cook?
Ulisess: Mmm .. something dramatic, the concert of Anna Fedorova performing the piano at Piano Concert no.2, op.18 by Rachmaninoff. Beautiful woman. The sound of the piano relaxes me, my favorite instrument.
HCS: Small technical point: with what material do you work?
Ulisess: I use virtual synthesizers in Ableton, I try to be practical in the number of elements when working on a new track, less is more. obviously without losing the intention that I have or desire at the moment.
HCS: Not easy to break into the musical jungle, even with talent ... what do you think about it?
Ulisess: It's true, it's not easy. In my country Colombia, it is very competitive and therefore difficult to enter the electronic scene. But not everything is negative. I have found a very good reception outside the country which makes me very happy. My country is far from being at the top of streamings and listeners to my music around the world.
HCS: And finally, if you have something to add (pretty much what you want ...), here we go!
Ulisess: Oh, let's not stop making music, listening, it's very human. Even more than human. Universal.

To continue in music the discovery of the artist, here is his latest track uploaded : "Nuklear Blood (feat. Souldz)"
To be continued... next month!
